Whether you are tasked with training one-on-one or in front of groups of learners, it is critical that you understand how to engage learners and avoid death by lecture and PowerPoint lethargy. The benefits of attending this session include learning and sharing ways to involve learners in quick, easy, fun and memorable ways before during and after the training session, increase learner's enthusiasm for complex, dry or technical content, enjoying your training role even more than you currently do!  Participants will:
  • determine the purpose of training
  • identify the four (4) learning styles and review the basics of how the brain learns best
  • demonstrate how to build more physical movement into training sessions (sitting is the new smoking!)
  • practice methods of letting the learners talk more and the trainer talk less (WHAT?)
  • brainstorm ways to build engagement in technical, complex training (eliminate snoring!)
  • learn creative ways to divide learners into small groups (no counting off!)
