A critical skill for leaders and managers is the ability to deliver difficult information to employees and staff in a graceful, courageous and honest way. This session will focus on how to build this skill.

  • Opening discussion on why it is important to have the skill to deliver tough messages
  • Two industry examples, one good and one not good, of a national company delivering tough news
  • Breakout session – two or three groups discussing likes/dislikes of each example
  • Break – 10 minutes
  • Video/discussion
  • Role-play exercise involving prepared script regarding a specific Aultman example
