Overview


The Master Social Media Certification program is designed to equip students with the social media marketing skills necessary to begin working as full-time social media experts for virtually any type of business. Once the program is successfully completed by the student they receive a Certified Social Media Professional (CSMP) designation. As a CSMP, students will be recognized by employers as online marketers capable of creating and executing social media strategies, promotional campaigns and content generation plans using the most popular social outlets available.

Our curriculum includes high-quality online video training built by Emmy Award-winning producers in a state-of-the-art television studio. The classes weve designed are taught by trained social media professionals who provide full-service social media management to an extensive list of clients every day. Instructor

Duncan Gilman Duncan is a sought-after speaker on Social Media Implementation and How to Reach the "Digital Native" Generation. In his prior role as social media manager, he developed and maintained online profiles for dozens of clients in a variety of industries. His expertise is teaching businesses and marketers how to create engaging, personal, people-focused relationships with customers and prospects. A graduate of the University of Texas, Duncan and his wife live in north Dallas, and his involvement in several community and professional organizations keeps him occupied and, for the most part, out of trouble.

Prerequisites/Audience

Familiarity with basic web browsing and interaction is required. This includes navigating certain sites as needed, playing video content and inputting information for homework assignments and exams.

The intended audience for this program is individuals seeking a social media career or looking to gain the skills needed in todays new marketing paradigm.
